Dr. Rosenblatt holds a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine (Geriatrics), Research Associate at the Institute of Gerontology and Research Scientist at the GRECC, at The University of Michigan.  After receiving her PhD in Pharmacology from Cornell University, Dr. Rosenblatt did post-doctoral work in neuropharmacology at the National Institute of Communicative Disorders and Stroke. She went on to get her MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine, she did a fellowship in Geriatrics at Harvard Medical School and then became a faculty member in the Division on Aging.

As a Brookdale National Fellow, she established a neuroscience laboratory at Harvard and, with further Brookdale support, this neuroscience research continued with her move to The University of Michigan. Dr. Rosenblatt has received support from grants from the Geriatric Research and Training Center, the American Foundation for Aging Research and a VA Merit review grant. As Director of the Geriatric Consult Service, Dr. Rosenblatt is developing an elder abuse prevention team for the hospital and for community outreach. She is also conducting research on the diagnosis and treatment of depression in the elderly in out-patient settings and on detection, management and prevention of elder abuse. Dr. Rosenblatt was recently named one of the outstanding clinicians in the Midwest.
