Bradley Hyman, MD, PhD
Dr. Hyman received a B.A. in chemistry from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and M.D. from the University of Iowa. He joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School in 1989. Currently Dr. Hyman is the John B. Penney Jr. Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He practices in the Memory Disorder Unit and is Chief of the Alzheimer Disease Research Unit laboratories at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hyman has received numerous awards and honors, which include a Metropolitan Life Award, the Potamkin Award, a Brookdale Foundation fellowship, an Alzheimer Association Zenith Award, an Alzheimer Association Pioneer Award, and a National Institute on Aging Merit award.
